If you are around Ward Two or East Cambridge, a good place to take scrap metal would be Cambridge Recycling Center on 147 Hampshire Street. Although they have days when they don’t open, it’s a recommended place, and they will take most types of scrap metal.

You can also take your materials to Atlas Metals on 475 Columbia Street. The dealer opens every day – except Sundays, and they have friendly and knowledgeable staff. Other places we recommend are J Talewsky & Sons and J & A Used Auto Parts.
